Ahh, the joys of summer! This summer has been full of great times. I have been all over central Texas, rekindled great friendships, and made new lifelong friends. This past weekend was yet another that I spent at the river! I simply adore the friends I have made there... as I find that each trip means new "buddies!" This trip was no different.

Saturday was spent (mostly) at the park relaxing and waiting on our late HTX arrivals. It really wasn't that bad waiting. As you can see from the pictures below it was a peaceful afternoon with fun friends!

Finally, the HTX friends arrived and we made it to our float for the day! *No pictures of that (boo-hoo) this time, but hopefully there will be next time because of my "half-birthday" present that I bought myself!  Stay tuned for more info on that!*

When we got off the river and got back to the house.  Finally it was time to eat, so we grilled (thanks Todd), listened to some good music on the cooler radio,and hung out for awhile and finally M made it too!  Everyone got changed and we began making plans.

Then we decided to go up to our regular hang outs!  Lucky for us, one of them had a rockin' band!  We spent the rest of the night dancin' away to the fun music and loving the summer nights!

Then finally, we headed back to the cabin to talk about our float, the hangout afterward, and good times together in general! Super fun night!

Then eventually we all made it to sleep.  Many of us were sleeping in preparation to do it all again on Sunday!
