This past weekend I had the chance to join some friends on Lake Travis for AquaPalooza weekend! Let me tell you, Austin has been busy, on FIRE, since July 4th weekend. Not only was it AquaPalooza weekend, it has been AquaPalooza week.
First, we started off on Friday night at Carlos'n Charlie's. The Eli Young Band was playing right outside the restaurant and charging $35 per person (really?!!, yes). Needless to say, and you might not be able to tell from my photos but, it was PACKED! I think Carlos'n Charlie's made at least $3 mil on Friday night!! We watched Eli Young from the houseboat, then went for drinks and dancing after the concert was over.
This photo does NO justice. You can't even see the mass of people that were out there. Just to give you a clue, many people had to park 3 miles away and walk... now that is dedication!
Boys on the boat during the concert.
So many women, so little time! Ha!
Day 2: Saturday, aboard the houseboat! Here is a shot of M driving the 90 ft. houseboat to mile 33 to the AquaPalooza stage!

Well, the pictures don't do it justice. *That is why I need a waterproof camera* But the good thing is... it is all a great memory. I must say, that was probably one of the best weekends I have had in Austin... ever!
