I must say... this past week was a cool, wet one. It kinda "rained on my parade." I still did all I wanted to do... just not to the extent I wanted to do it. On Thursday I went to GRUENE to meet my mom and her girls on their river trip. Here are pictures from the river house. Note how high the river is running!! That means no sore bottoms this year! =)

It was VERY difficult for me to leave so soon. I NEVER go to the river and not spend a long time there but I had to this time. I was sad. Guadalupe River, you are ALWAYS on my mind. See ya in a MONTH!
Next it was time to celebrate some birthdays. Two of my friends had birthdays late last week. We got together for a nice upscale dinner at the new VIVO.

Vivo is a nice treat. However, it is so popular that the wait is a bit ridiculous. I really enjoyed the company and love treating myself to a special night out with some special people!
I can't wait for the warm weather to come and STAY. I am super ready for some real FUN in the SUN!
