Yet another spectacular weekend! We headed to K-town on Friday evening for a weekend packed FULL of fun! We started by just hanging out around the house Friday night. We had to "lay low" since we were heading out early for the parade.
Saturday morning we woke up early, bundled up, packed the truck and headed downtown H-town for the Rodeo Parade. It was my first time to actually watch a parade in years! I was the most excited!
Here are some parade photos... I love high school BANDS (just a warning)... there are alot! =)
Kay Bailey Hutchison
(How many senators do you know that can ride a horse?)
Sheila Jackson Lee

Eisenhower HS... always a good performance
Cook Off
a Houston tradition...
Later that evening, we met up with some friends at their hotel. The view was amazing atop the 27th floor where the suites were. So we had to snap a picture... only it didn't or wouldn't turn out the way we thought.

Thanks Peebs! You always take care of us and show us a good time at cook off! Luv ya girl!
The next afternoon I met my family for another CIRQUE outing. This time it was ...
This was one of my favorite Cirques yet! This performance had Robert Muraine (the pop locker from S.Y.T.Y.C.D.). It was awesome. Check out a small sample video. I highly recommend this CIRQUE as well as all the CIRQUE du Soleils. AMAZING!
Hey Darby!! I can't believe you didn't get any pictures of the runners before the parade. =) If so, you may have seen me! Hope you're doing well!
